Penrose Greenhouse & Garden Center

Penrose Nursery is centrally located on [Berry Farm Properties](https://penrosenursery.com) located at 4720 E Highland Rd, Howell, MI 48843 at the East end of Livingston County. The Greenhouse is South off M59, first drive west of Hughes Rd.

Berry Farm Properties is a beautiful large farm consisting of several rolling acres of natural habitat as well as acres of rich farm land for growing. This property fronts beautiful twin Logan Lakes a natural wildlife habitat abundant in many varieties of plants both woodland and aquatic.

Deer, Turkey, Geese, Pheasants, Rabbits, Squirrels and many other species of wildlife are home to the farm. Hunting and fishing are prohibited. Berry Farm Properties also has a large pond where ducks and geese can be seen and many turtles and frogs and occasionally a snake can be spotted.

The property also has a house and 3 large pole barns for storage. The house fronts Gulley Rd. and is rented out to a very nice family, so we ask that all people visiting the property not use the entrance on Gulley Rd or disturb our neighbours.

Penrose Nursery was founded by Mark and Denise Penrose who have retired and reside in sunny Vero Beach Florida where they are enjoying spending more time with the grand-kids. They are certainly missed by all the staff at Penrose.

Matt Berry and his wife Rebekah are the sole owners of Penrose Nursery and Garden Center and also own Berry Farm Properties.

Matt grew up on a large 450 acre farm in neighbouring Oakland County in the Twp. of Rose. The farm was next to and wrapped around Diehl's Orchard & Cider Mill. It was there on the farm that Matt began to learn farming and arboriculture.

At just 18 years of age he became the youngest person in Michigan to obtain his certification as an I.S.A. arborist. He had been working under the supervision of his father both on the farm and professionally since the age of 15.

The Penrose family have passed on their knowledge and trade secrets to Matt and Rebekah, and continue to be a source of knowledge and support to ensure the business continues to thrive. Our promise as care givers is to carry on with the Penrose legacy of excellence.

With sincere thanks and gratitude from our family to yours,
The Berry family.
